WELCOME TO MY SITE
Photography
This was my first real hobby, but it took me a while to put together an online portfolio. I’m mostly interested in travel photography – whether that’s capturing the epic landscapes of the Norwegian fjords or the street scenes of a cobblestoned square in an old Polish town.
Travel
I’ve had the travel bug from a young age, and I have my parents to thank for that. This hobby goes hand in hand with my photography because I love taking pictures of the different places I go. Currently I’m at 50+ countries and 43 U.S. states.
Architecture
A newer interest of mine is architecture. I’ve always loved the way a building could make you feel – like the awe of walking into a soaring Gothic cathedral for the first time – but I didn’t do anything meaningful with that interest until I started documenting it via archetypical.us, a WIP website that has since evoled into a broader visual encyclopedia.
Biography
After starting archetypical.us, I found out that I really liked designing web pages. And what better way to combine my passion for travel (really my #1 hobby) with web design other than a travel blog? My wife actually had the idea to start, and after many iterations we finally decided on JetSetMonaco, where we now document our adventures together. Currently I’m at 43 U.S. states and 50+ countries.
